Once upon a pandemic, a bunch of strangers were hanging out in the basement, listening to Steven Page stream live music every weekend. They became friends. They hung out a lot -- we mean a LOT -- on the Steven Page Discord server, and eventually called themselves the Live From Homies. This is their lore.

Soup

According to Steven in a Q&A on Discord: "We all know that soup is a treat! That was a phrase I uttered, without thinking, to my son Isaac after I got a bowl of soup from a buffet. He made fun of me and then soon realized I was speaking truth. He too is now a believer in the power of soup to heal and restore! It’s also my nickname within the SP3. Named after what the three of us each ordered at a diner in NYC after every show at the Carlyle back in 2016, I took on the moniker Soup, while Kevin became Sandwich, after his habitual club sandwich, and Craig is Salad, because of his, well, Greek Salad choice."
